Matthew's spacer is doing it's job nicely. He thinks it pretty cool, this massive gap between his front teeth. He came in and said "look mom, this sucker fits right in here." Then we tried a straw. He doesn't even need to open his mouth to drink from it, we thought this was pretty funny. Luckily, he's young enough that it doesn't bother him and the kids at school are fascinated by it. Thank goodness for that. Oh, and a major bonus- it really has helped his nasal problems, he hasn't been plugged up for about a week. This is practically a miracle.
