Tonto Natural Bridge

On Memorial Day we thought it would be nice to get out of town and out of the heat for a bit so we decided to head up to Tonto Natural Bridge.  It's just outside of Payson and only about an hour and a half away. It was a fun little adventure with some beautiful scenery and a bit of a challenging hike. The kids loved all the rock climbing and creek hopping that was involved. We hiked all the way down under the bridge and back up. There were some fairly intense moments of rock climbing that had us mothers a little panicked until everyone was across safely, but we all survived and we were very proud of our accomplishment!

Unfortunately, somehow we managed to not get a good picture of the bridge which is the most amazing part! I'll have to check with Vaughn and Kindra and see if they got one... Afer the hike we enjoyed a nice picnic lunch. We were definitely glad we went!
