Spring is Here?!?

(This is a picture of our backyard today!)

Dear Old Man Winter,

Didn't you get the memo? It was the first day of spring last Friday. Can you please not send anymore snow our way this year? At least not until December, and then it might be nice to have some in time for Christmas. Just when we thought the snow was gone for good...I guess this is all my fault since I put away all the snow pants and boots on Monday. I think you must be trying to teach me a lesson about who's in charge. Anyway, we hope you have a nice spring and summer (please leave us alone ALL summer, we don't want it to snow during swimming lessons again this year) and we'll see you in nine months!

Love,

The Grovers'
P.S. I guess for now we will just enjoy some grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup one more time!

I don't know about this. A few years ago, we went to Utah in May for my niece's baptism and it snowed. Yeah, I thought we were pretty safe driving and the weather would be good. We hit a "white out" at one point and I seriously almost lost it. That was my first real encounter with snow and driving in it. I do not like anything that blocks your vision from the all important road when you are driving. I have come to realize that I don't like snow, fog, etc. We have come to really appreciate all of the lines on the roads as they are what kept us on the road. :)

Oh that looks delicious! Too funny that you put the snow clothes away on Monday. I thought the picture of your backyard was beautiful thought, if I am allowed to say. Rex is just too darn cute. Can't wait to see you soon!

Oh, and of course, Wes LOVES full house, he often quotes it, sometimes I think he fanitisizes about being Uncle Jesse.

Maybe the groundhog just couldn't get rid of his shadow this year. Or is it the other way around? Who knows, all I can say is I feel for ya. Good thing you are coming down to 95 degree weather for at least a few weeks. Actually it has cooled down a lot the last few days... hopefully it will stay beautiful for your arrival!!
